Martin Leach amava le automobili e le corse. Una passione che ha coltivato fin da bambino, prima con i kart poi in monoposto, diventando pilota professionista e successivamente dirigente ai vertici di aziende importanti. Con lui, ha preso il via il programma racing della Maserati MC12 nel 2004. Disponibile e competente, così come un altro ex-AD del Tridente, Karl-Heinz Kalbfell, che già ci ha lasciato prematuramente. Entrambi avevano una visione. Martin Leach ha vinto con NextEV un Campionato di Formula E due anni fa e il prossimo 21 novembre a Londra, vedrà la luce la sua ultima nata, la supercar stradale elettrica di NextEV. Sarebbe bello che si chiamasse NextEV GT ML… Ciao Martin!
Martin Leach loved the world of automobiles and motor sport. A passion that started when he was still a child, racing with karts, then with single seaters as a professional driver, before becoming the top manager of important makers. With him, Maserati started the racing adventure of the MC12 in 2004. Approachable and competent, like another former CEO of the Trident, Karl-Heinz Kalbfell, that already passed away too early.
